at 1st boot you have to enter bios setup - Security and restore security settings to factory defaults. put back original file, see if error goes away and then try again with unlocked file and restore security.

Here's your Unlocked EC file, but I need your other chip to fix this End point problem. The chip could be 16MB or 32MB.

He has to program both chipsets with your files and after that power on laptop. if he programs one chipset and power on laptop it modifies the content of other chipset.

program both chipsets with files provided by hardware1 and at 1st boot press F10 to enter bios setup, go to Security and at bottom you have restore security to factory defaults.

HP Elitebook 830 G8 HP Endpoint Controller error and no power issue (intermitent)
                          by Nene01
                          Hi all,

I have a HP Elitebook 830 G8 with endpoint controller error and besides that laptop sometimes doesn´t power on and i think it´s bios related also.
I already tried to solve the issue with SMDFlea patch fix and now i can´t power on the equipment anymore not even replacing main bios by its original.

Please take a look at my original main bios and help me if possible (i also attached EC BIOS without password).
The mainboard also had password that i manage to remove.

                          Thanks
                          Best Regards...

HP Clean VSS2 dumps, fix Endpoint Security error
                          by SMDFlea
Just a thread to post clean VSS2 files/dumps in.A clean VSS2 file can, in some cases, fix
the infamous **"Endpoint Security" error message.
Be aware that if you use a clean VSS2 you may need to fill in missing DMI info using HP BCU !

I`ve included some clean files/dumps,offsets and a few scripts to autopatch a few models.
The offsets and file sizes are part of the naming convention i`ve used for the extracted
                          files.

hoaca388 has made an excellent guide how to extract the VSS2 file and edit/clean it up by
                          filling everything after...
